At Bora, we take pride in delivering high-quality, insightful, and original content that aligns with our clients’ strategic goals. Our experienced professionals meticulously research, write and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and impact.
We acknowledge the role of Generative AI (GenAI) in modern content development, particularly in enhancing research, streamlining ideation, and improving efficiency. However, our approach is human-led. GenAI may assist in the process, but the expertise, strategic thinking, and industry knowledge of our professionals are what shape the final narrative.
We are also mindful of the pitfalls and negative impact that GenAI may have in the quality of the work we do for our clients. Content that is directly copied from a GenAI tool may be plagiarised and biased, bereft of value, or even jeopardise our client’s privacy and intellectual property.
It is for these reasons that we have developed and published on our website a meticulous AI policy. We encourage our professionals to engage with GenAI tools and incorporate them in their workflows in meaningful and creative ways. However, creating blogs and other assets directly from these tools is strictly prohibited.
Many businesses may revert to using AI detectors to flag content as human-generated or not. While these tools attempt to classify text as human- or AI-generated, they are not definitive. These models operate on probabilistic patterns rather than true comprehension, leading to false positives where well-structured human-written content is incorrectly flagged as AI-generated. Given the inconsistency of results across different tools, such classifications should not be viewed as absolute.
Bruce Schneier has discussed the challenges and limitations of AI detection tools in identifying AI-generated content. In his blog post titled “Detecting AI-Generated Text,” Schneier argues that “There are no reliable ways to distinguish text written by a human from text written by a large language model.“
If you are unsure of the validity of the tools, take a piece of your own, internally-generated, human-written content, and run it through the same tools to see the results. At Bora, we don’t endorse any specific AI checking tools, but what we suggest is for you to use various different ones on the same piece of content and see the inconsistency of their findings.
At Bora, quality and effectiveness matter more than arbitrary AI detection scores. Our commitment is to deliver well-researched, value-driven cybersecurity content that informs, engages, and resonates with industry professionals. We encourage content to be evaluated based on its accuracy, originality, and ability to communicate complex cybersecurity topics effectively.
If there are concerns regarding authorship, we are happy to provide insight into our rigorous content development process, including research methodology, drafting, and quality assurance. We remain dedicated to producing credible, impactful, and thought-provoking cybersecurity content that drives meaningful conversations.
