Job description

March 26, 2026

  • Job Type: Full-time only
  • Location: Remote (Spain & UK only)
  • Salary: Up to €40k + OTE (dependant on experience)
  • Responsibilities: Delivery of services, client relationships, account growth, team development

1) The company

Bora is a cybersecurity marketing agency. We only work with cybersecurity companies. We only do marketing.

2) The role

We’re looking for a Content Writer to join our team. You’ll need previous experience working in cybersecurity.

We need someone who can communicate cleanly and clearly. Someone who is direct, whilst being cordial, human, and delightful. No superfluous business fluff. No one checking your work. You own your words.

You will support our account teams to create and deliver client marketing campaigns.

Our clients are based worldwide, so we offer a truly flexible working arrangement. We meet client needs, ensuring your happiness and well-being is top of mind.

Responsibilities:

  • Review client briefs for technical accuracy, and enrich them with your own knowledge and research
  • Draft content that is; technically accurate; interesting, useful, & engaging; and that supports visibility across search (SEO) and chat (AEO/GEO)
  • Manage multiple client projects, delivering high-quality work on time
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, challenges, and changes

3) The skillset

Organised af: You will come to meetings prepared with a plan and a timeline. You understand planning ahead will set you, your team, and our clients up for success. You’re the type of person who organises their email inbox with colours and labels and a sorting system.

AI-centric: You treat AI as infrastructure, not a tool. You use it by default to plan, research, draft, and refine. You think in workflows, not tasks. You know the first output is rarely right. You sense-check everything, apply context, and know when to push, fix, or ignore the output.

Listen to hear: You listen to understand. We want to know what our clients are feeling. Ask lots of questions. Ask the right questions. Engage in discussions to uncover pains, situations, audiences, positioning, and tone of voice.

Attention to detail: You notice things before our clients do. You notice industry trends, emerging threats and opportunities, and opportunities to improve. You’re on top of the latest developments, engrossed in the top security publications daily. You join the dots our clients don’t, bringing new ideas to their tables.

4) Essential experience

If you have 2-3 years of cybersecurity experience doing some of the below, this role is for you:

  • Writing (obviously)
  • Marketing
  • Content management/creation,
  • Public relations
  • Project management

5) Additional desired experience

If you have or can relate to some of what’s described in this section, it will put you ahead:

  • Understanding of modern SaaS marketing practices and challenges
  • Understanding of technical SEO, AEO/GEO, and domain authority management
  • A little black book of cybersecurity contacts
  • Membership to relevant cybersecurity professional associations/networking groups

6) The application process

It’ll be as short as it can be for a role of this type, whilst giving us both what we need to decide. We’ll address any questions you have about the work, the company, and what a future at Bora may look like.

We’ll let you know after each stage if you’ll be progressed to the next.
