At Bora, we pride ourselves on understanding the market and researching the information required to write a broad range of material, from news-related blog posts to technical white papers and marketing campaign project packs.

Our clients are based worldwide, so we offer flexible work arrangements to help you meet the needs of clients in different time zones. Our culture at Bora is centred around working effectively to meet the needs of clients, but also ensuring your happiness and well-being is top of mind.

About the role

We seek an experienced, motivated, and creative person to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing multiple client relationships and project managing on-going marketing campaigns.

You will have the responsibility of managing the relationship with your clients and developing digital content that meets their objectives. You will work with your clients to understand their business objectives, what they want to achieve, and be able to translate that into a content plan.

You will be responsible for working with designated Project Managers at Bora to ensure the delivery of the work. This will include overseeing the writing of briefs, managing the work schedule, ensuring the quality of the product will satisfy your client’s needs, and much more.

This is a senior role in the business, so you must be well organised, used to multi-tasking, and proactive in driving business growth. We are looking for someone who uses their initiative and can manage a team to ensure our client’s high standards are met, yet is empathetic and a good leader.

We are looking for an individual who has the following skills:

  • A good planner. The team will rely on you to come to meetings prepared with a plan and a timeline. You need to have the mindset that planning ahead will set you, your team, and your clients up for success.
  • Highly productive. You need to have strong time management skills and want to help us improve our process and maximize your team’s efficiency.
  • Team player. Your team will rely on you for positive guidance, direction, and the ability to communicate with them in a way that empowers them to do their job to the best of their ability. Ensuring morale within the team is high, you’ll need to be empathetic.
  • Attention to detail. Our clients rely on us to be detail-oriented, productive, thorough, consistent, and extremely well organised. Delivering the highest standard of work is important, as that’s vital to maintaining strong relationships.
  • A good listener and observant. It’s extremely important to get a sense of how the team is feeling and how clients are too. Listening to what others want, sharing feedback, and delivering on their needs is important.
  • Ask a lot of questions. To understand our client’s needs, we must be good listeners and communicators. It’s important to ask the right questions, engage in discussions to get the relevant information at the start of projects, and not waste time.
  • Problem solver. Quite often, our clients come to us with their problems. Your role is to help offer solutions to those problems. Sometimes, they can be obvious and logical, but they might also need additional creative input. No matter how the results are achieved, helping solve those problems is essential.

  • Build and maintain client relationships – the potential to take on new clients and build on a cold relationship from the initial introduction.
  • Deliver agreed work to the client to a high standard and in a timely fashion. It’s important that we hit deadlines and don’t break our promises.
  • Work with you to uncover their needs and objectives, helping create suitable marketing programs, ultimately expanding our services and client base.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and changes, adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Clearly communicate the client’s objectives and needs with colleagues and work with the team to deliver projects.
  • Provide strategic guidance to help shape the client’s business.
  • Drive overall business revenue via monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. Being target-driven will be extremely important.

The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:

  • 3+ years of B2B marketing experience
  • Experience in a cybersecurity or technology marketing role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing client accounts.
  • Organised, detail-orientated with the ability to multi-task, prioritise, and respond quickly.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and experience with tools such as Asana, Wrike, and Slack.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
  • Target-driven, team-focused attitude and willingness to collaborate with peers, clients, and the cybersecurity community at large.
